These are fully generated with a python script.

First I have just a smoothed cube, then script
splits the cube in half and deletes other side.
Then script chooses randomly some faces and extrudes them.
After that the cube is mirrored again to the other side.

I found out that this mirroing gives nice organic symmetry
feeling to these "creatures".
